August 3, 2022 - Micron Technology Inc., a leading global supplier of automotive memory, today announced that its automotive-grade high-performance LPDDR5 DRAM memory and UFS 3.1 products based on 3D TLC NAND technology have been adopted for Ideal Automotive's newly launched full-size smart flagship SUV. Micron's LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 solutions enable up to L4 autonomous driving for Ideal's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Thanks to Micron's complete portfolio, the RISO L9 Intelligent Cockpit System also integrates Micron's automotive-grade LPDDR4 and UFS 2.1 technologies to provide users with an outstanding entertainment and user interface experience. In addition, the Ideal L9 cross-domain control unit is equipped with Micron's NOR flash memory and eMMC technology to ensure overall system robustness and reduce system boot time. 

The RISO Full-size Smart SUV is well placed to meet the growing demand from Chinese consumers for greener and more efficient vehicles. The model not only boasts an outstanding range of up to 1,100 km, but also a groundbreaking five-screen 3D spatially interactive intelligent cockpit that provides an immersive driving and entertainment experience. Micron's automotive-grade LPDDR5 delivers up to 50% more bandwidth for a near real-time experience for data-intensive applications in the Ideal car. 


Desay SV's latest generation of ADAS technology is powered by Micron memory, enabling high speed computing performance and support for autonomous driving up to L4 level. The system's high computing performance enables the L9 to sense and respond to the complex environments it may encounter on the road.
